Still ploughing through my books of patterned paper to use up. I liked the look of this months sketch from Cheerful Sketches
I used some patterned paper that was free with a magazine a few years ago, and a Tattered Lace Cherished Darlings die - I never seem to have time to stamp and colour images, so these are ideal for me.

Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge
I'd forgotten how much I love card sketches. I found this one from Viva La Verve and thought I'd give it a go
Here's my take on it, the card was too small for the banner, so I replaced it with a strip of paper
The papers and die cut image are from the Tattered Lace Magazine No 52
Here's the link to the sketch challenge if you want to play too VLV May 2018

New Technique(s)
I seem to be on a cardmaking roll at the moment - I've made more cards this year (over 40) than I have in the last 4 years.
I've volunteered to do this month's challenge on Crafts by Carolyn and it's to make a project using a new technique
Here's mine, which actually includes 2 new techniques for me. The first is an Easel Card, from a tutorial I found here http://www.kraftingkreations.com/2013/04/sunshine-flower-card-tutorial.html and a quilted patterned paper die cut, inspired from here http://ourlittleinspirations.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/wt378-afternoon-tea-birthday.html
I have to say, next time I would stagger the 2nd line of squares to soften it a little, it looked perfect on Carole's card, but hers was more of a rectangular shape.
Hope you can join in with my challenge

Clearly Besotted Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes
I was lucky enough to be able to get the Text Me stamps and dies before they sold out and here's the first card I've made with them
Off to have a play with Blogger, it's ages since I last blogged and it looks like I need to update my background as well as a few more things

Blowing Out The Cobwebs
One of my New Year Resolutions was to craft & blog more, ok it's taken a month but I'm here!
Kath's challenge on the cbc forum is to make something with bling and wings and pretty things.
I made these with Charlotte & Jamie to give to the teachers at their school next week
The fab jar is a printout from dandee blog

Multitasking Challenges
This weeks colours on Passion For Promarkers are Pumpkin & Prussian, but there's an added theme of Halloween
I used the sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday and the image is downloaded from Elizabeth Dulemba. I coloured some white primas with my prussian blue promarkers & the outer circle of the sentiment too

Blogging in the early hours
This weeks challenge on Passion For Promarkers is to use Cocoa & Rose Pink
I used cocoa for the hair & rose pink for the drink, chair & stool but I also used the pink to customise my paper as the flowers & circles were a very pale lilac so I coloured over them with my promarker (I've left 2 circles on the right hand side so you can see the difference - have coloured them in now I've taken the photo!
I've also used this weeks fab sketch over at Papertake Weekly
