Chinese Whisper

I've been playing chinese whisper on the cbc forum. This is how it works
I will email a template to the first person on the list and they will make a card like the normal template challenge. They will then email an image of that card to the next person in the group and send me a copy at the same time, no one else will see. They will then make a card using this card as the template Then they email the image to the next person and so on.

This is the card I made for the most recent round
Papers and ribbons part of a kit from Sarah's Cards and the bird is a die cut.

This is one I made a month or so ago and forgot to blog!

Not too sure where the papers came from for this one - it's a double-sided sheet that I got fro m a swap.

DCM - Golden Oldies

It was hubby's b'day earlier this week & i made this for him the night before during the adverts of a tv programme we were watching!! It also qualifies for this weeks dcm dare of golden oldies (the die cuts had been cut out about 2 years ago but never used)
NOW ! - on to this weeks dare - we have a team dare this week, and we were thinking.....with so many new things /latest papers/ trendy stuff constantly coming on the market, we thought it would be nice to have a look back, and dig out some of our 'old' papers and embellishments and make a card with our 'preloved' treasures. I think the tendency these days is to get on the 'latest must have' band wagon, sometimes, its nice to recognise what we already have- even if it isn't the 'latest' embellishment/paper.

DCM Spot The Difference

I had to make a quick birthday card last night and managed to use this weeks dcm dare.

Hi, it's Rhi here this week to dare you, and it's...Journalling spots. They're used all the time in scrapbooking where it's extra personal to read someone's words and memories in their own hand. Use a journalling spot, be it stamped, premade, handcut, digital or doodled, to frame your handwritten message on your card. Have a look at the cards we've made, then share your creations by leaving a link, I dare you!
Stamp is from Sassy Crafts and papers are from one of my Sarahs Cards kits
